Where it all Began
Before the GA200
In 1999 a very unique training program was created by Fran de Kock – the Commercial Agricultural Pilot Training Program.
The Commercial Ag Pilot Training Program was designed to help fill the need for specially trained pilots working in a demanding flying environment.

After the GA200
In the 80’s and 90’s Battelford’s Airspray initially taught student pilots to spray using a Cessna 140 or a Champ and finished training with the Piper Pawnee or Cessna Ag Truck.
Since acquiring the Gippsland GA200 our ability to instruct students became much more effective. The side-by-side seat configuration allows the instructor to observe and give immediate feedback throughout all phases of the training.
In our Specialized Commercial Agricultural Pilot Training Course you will learn to:
Fly Tailwheel Aircraft
Apply Different Spray Patterns
Use Lightbar and SATLOC Technology
Bank & Turn Safely
Avoid Low Level Environment Obstacles
Apply Emergency Procedures
Navigate Simple to Complex Training Fields
Learn all this and much more!
